Zheng Yang

In the past five years, I earned my bachelor's degree in Education Studies and master's degree in International Education at American University. I am a Chinese teacher at a public charter school in Washington, DC.

As a professional with related educational background and working experience in international education, my educational philosophy includes bringing cultures and new perspectives together to initiate meaningful learning experiences for students. 

I also enjoy innovating teaching methods and content to stimulate students' learning interests and provide them with a high-quality bilingual immersion learning environment while promoting their understanding of traditional Chinese culture. 

Most importantly, as a native Chinese speaker and young educator, I believe my passion for education and energy for spreading cultural awareness can make an outstanding contribution to my teaching. I am willing to fully commit to education and have the confidence to help every child grow and learn happily.
