                                              教师自述

       教师这个职业是神圣而伟大的，他要求教师不仅要有丰富的知识，还要有教书育人，尽职尽责和积极奉献的精神。

    1. 我在中文学校从教19年了，曾荣获美东资深教师奖，  

    2. 曾在 2015 年获得美东中文学校协会优良教师奖。   

    3. 2008 年获得美东中文学校协会资深教师奖。   

    4. 2015 年 3 月加入 CLTA 北维州教师协会，并在董事会义务兼职财务一职，由于任期满了，现已退出，但是每年二次的研讨会，都会例行参加。   

    5. 2021 年 1 月获得国际汉语教师专业能力证书。   

         在教学中尽量做到谦虚谨慎、以身作则、严于律己、为人师表。在教学态度上必须做到精心备课，落实教学大纲的内容，做到因材施教，课堂设计合理，节奏适度。培养了学生对学中文的兴趣。在我的教学生涯中送走了一批又一批的学生，其中有些同学在我的教学指导下在美华商报和世界日报上发表了不少的文章。我为这些同学感到骄傲和自豪，其中也要感谢我们的家长鼎力相助和配合，为我们的华裔学生奠定了中文基础，付之于实践，让中文在全世界遍地开花结果。 这就是我热衷与教育事。

The teaching profession is well respected and comes with significant opportunities and responsibilities.   Teachers are required not only to have substantial subject knowledge, but also to have a spirit dedicated to teaching and my revision is below:

The teaching profession is well respected and comes with significant opportunities and responsibilities.   Teachers are required not only to have substantial subject knowledge, but also to have a spirit dedicated to teaching and enriching students through conscientiousness and active dedication.

  1. I have been teaching in Chinese schools for 19 years, and I have won the Senior Teacher Award in the Eastern United States.

  2. In 2015, I won the Excellent Teacher Award from the East American Chinese School Association.

  3. In 2008, I won the Senior Teacher Award from the East American Chinese School Association.

  4. I Joined the CLTA Northern Virginia Teachers Association in March 2015, and took a part-time financial position on the board of directors. While I no longer occupy that position due to the expiration of the term, I continue to routinely participate in activities of and support the association.

   5. In January 2021, I was awarded the Professional Competency Certificate for International Chinese Teachers.

  In teaching, it is my goal to be modest and prudent, lead by example, be strict with self-discipline, and be a teacher by example. In terms of teaching attitude, it is necessary to carefully prepare lessons, implement the content of the syllabus, teach students in accordance with their aptitude, maintain reasonable classroom design, and an appropriate pace of learning. It is essential to cultivate students' interest in learning Chinese. It has been my privilege during my teaching career to teach many students, some of whom have published many articles in American-Chinese Business Daily and World Journal under my teaching guidance. I am proud all my students and I would also like to thank our parents for their great help and cooperation, laying the foundation of Chinese for our Chinese students, putting it into practice, and making Chinese flourish all over the world. This is why I am so passionate about Chinese language education. It develops not only language proficiency but a knowledge of and appreciation for our great historical heritage.
